Student Experience

The Student Experience (SE) office, part of Rensselaer’s Division of Student Life, aims to ensure that all undergraduate students are successful both in and out of the classroom. Facilitating the transition from high school through graduation, the SE team provides guidance, support, challenge, and intervention to students. As a keystone in Rensselaer’s CLASS (Clustered Learning, Advocacy, and Support for Students) Initiative, the SE office’s collaborations span across Institute divisions and the five schools.

The Office of the Registrar recommends academic policy to the faculty, implements academic policy guidelines determined by faculty, maintains accurate student academic records, and preserves the confidentiality, security and ethical handling of those records.

The main activities of the Office of the Bursar include student billing and collections for all graduate and undergraduate students at the Institute.

Archer Center for Student Leadership Development

The Archer Center for Student Leadership Development provides leadership education — both in and outside of the classroom — for the benefit of Rensselaer students, faculty, staff, administrators and local communities.
