The Nussbaum Award

The Frederick M. Nussbaum ’30 Memorial Award for Outstanding Volunteerism is an opportunity to recognize an outstanding Rensselaer student who is currently a junior.

The Nussbaum Award shall be granted to an outstanding Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute junior in recognition of her/his volunteer activities at Rensselaer, or civic involvement in bettering the community in and around Rensselaer. The recipient will receive an award in their Senior year.

You are invited to nominate a student for this award.  The nomination must detail the experiences of the nominated student and may include supporting material such as references.  Nominators may be students, staff, faculty, alums or community members.

Nomination are now open.  The recipient or recipients are selected by a campus committee and will be notified via email.  The Award will be given presented in the Fall.  Questions can be directed to Cameron McLean at mcleac2@rpi.edu or Jennifer Forbes at forbej3@rpi.edu.
